In general please make sure you check with your supplier or local distributor to avoid losing your money on worthless products. Genuine sellers will have some proof like original packing or bill of purchase.

Siltech never produced SPX-28 or SQ88B! In reality, these are made in China from copper and vheap plastic (PVC), printed with dot matrix, it is a very pitiful imitation.
Unfortunately they can be found all over EBAY. (Ebay or PayPal does not protect you in case you buy imitation products). When in doubt, please always contact your local distributor or us directly.

Guide for used cablesFor buyers of used, second-hand Siltech cables: We received many complaints from Ebay buyers not receiving their money back after discovering they received imitation product. Ebay unfortunately cannot control the origin of contents of sellers. Most Siltech cables we tracked over the last 3 years turned out to be fake (imitation) We tried to stop volume imitation sellers like currygipson under the Ebay-Store named Acoustic Audiophile reported to be in Hong Kong. Unfortunately many victims already lost their money and maybe will never get their money returned.

We suggest to be very careful buying from volume sellers not having original bills or original packaging from Siltech.
Also if they carry many of the same models it is usually suspicious. Most imitation cables are produced in China , middleman sell to these so called powersellers with high positive ratings. Many customers reported not getting their money back, but are counterattacked and for whatever reason removed from negative ratings. About 90% of the so called Siltech cables sold through various power sellers on Ebay worldwide are imitation products, fully printed with our logo, name, typename and even made-in-holland. Please understand that due to the high volume of counterfeit products, Siltech cannot prevent all items being sold. |
